It is observed that in the monsoon, many plants especially medicinal plants are growing far better in the wild compared to those which are grown in the garden. In the garden, a large number of seeds are planted, however after a few days almost no seeds are germinating and there are no plants.
In some cases, the seed may germinate, however in a few days time, the seedling will disappear from the pot, either eaten by the insect, bird or squirrel who is roaming the area.
Often the birds, squirrels are digging the pot to find the seeds that have been planted, so the conversion rate of seeds into seedlings remains very low.
On the other hand, it is observed that some plants are growing very well, in the wild, in public spaces where they do not get any water, except the rainfall in the area.
